Offerings to Bewitch Yourself to
Bewitch Yourself is a virtual and interactive electroacoustic toy opera for singular/small audience guided through a ritual of self-bewitchment. Call in the resources you need to guide your way forward as we co-craft a songspell that holds space for infinite possibility. Come knowing what you’d like to be resourced around or we can pull a resource-based oracle card from my Sacrosanct Oracle//Composition Deck to share some insight. Bewitch yourself, manifesting transformation through deep listening, while I cast your songspell with vocals, an orchestra of toy instruments, and live electronic processing in MaxMSP.
Book an Offering
All offerings take place virtually. Readings are given with Alexa’s Sacrosanct Oracle//Composition Deck, a collection of resource-based oracle cards that double as graphic scores offering space to assess, access, cultivate, claim, and share resources as we forge our own paths forward.
Offerings are available by sliding scale or barter for Disabled, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ folx, as well as folx without financial stability. Include the price you’re able to pay or the barter you’d like to propose as an appointment note when booking and I will send an invoice with payment options. Payment plans are available upon request.
Sacrosanct Oracle//Composition Deck & Guidebook
The Sacrosanct Oracle//Composition Deck is a collection of resource-based oracle messages that double as indeterminate graphic scores. Sacrosanct holds 50 hand-drawn and digitally colored oracle//composition cards measuring 3.5” x 5.75”. An accompanying 108-page, hand-written and risograph-printed guidebook presents methods for resourcing yourself and musically reading the cards to invoke songspells (intentions that hold space for infinite possibility translated letter for letter into musical phrases that manifest transformation through the process of deep listening).
Accessing music as transformative self-care through the Sacrosanct Oracle//Composition Deck requires only a mechanism for generating sound and connection to experimentation and play. Formal musical training is not necessary.
